摘要

Abstract

In order to realize automatic power off when the battery is fully charged, a charging manager for storage battery based on PIC single-chip microcomputer is designed. The manager with the self-learning function can memorize the battery full charging status to adapt to the existing battery chargers and charge the storage battery intelligently, which protects the battery to the greatest extent and prolongs the battery life. On unattended occasions, automatic power off is carried out when the battery is fully charged to avoid fire hazards and the electrical faults and save valuable energy as well.
