摘要

Abstract

As the essential property of electromagnetic wave, polarization state of the target will be changed when the wave is reflected. The characteristic information of the target is implied by its depolarization effect. By making sufficiently use of the polarization characteristics of the target, the capability of anti-jamming, anti-stealth and recognition of radar will be enhanced efficiently. The polarization gain of signal-noise-rate(SNR) of radar target detection with different scattering mechanism in instance of mono-polarization , dual-polarization and fully-polarization radar has been analyzed in this paper. The research results are useful for the choice of radar polarization mode and the optimization of radar detection algorithm.
