摘要

Abstract

The Quasi-Yagi microstrip antenna is a structure deformed planar Yagi microstrip antenna with good performance, but its broadband character still can't satisfy in the application requirment. In order to get the UWB(Ulter Wide Band) antenna character, a new antenna is researched, that the bow-tie element is used as the driven element to broaden the bandwidth of the antenna. The new antenna is simulated and optimized by the EM simulation software Ansoft HFSS, and its practical object is fabricated, then it is tested by instrument. The measured results show that the antenna has better performance of relative bandwidth as great as 39.6%( VSWR<2) at the operational frequency 2.4 GHz, and the good patterns.
