Abstract
Objective To explore the protein expressions of Bcl - 2 and AFP in primary hepatic carcinoma and hepatic cirrhosis and its significance. Methods The postoperative tumor specimens of 89 patients with primary hepatic carcinoma and specimens taken by liver puncture biopsy from 72 cases of hepatic cirrhosis were selected, and the protein expressions of Bcl - 2 and AFP were detected by Western blot in those specimens. Results The expression of Bcl - 2 and AFP protein in the primary liver cancer group were strongly positive. Bcl - 2 protein was hardly expressed in the heaptic cirrhosis group. The expression of AFP was weak in the hepatic cirrhosis group. There were significant differences in the expression of Bcl - 2 and AFP between the primary liver cancer group and the hepatic cirrhosis group (P < 0.01) , and there was a positive correlation between the absorbance ratios of Bcl - 2 and AFP in the primary liver cancer group(r = 0.71 ,P <0.01). Conclusion AFP has high specificity for primary liver cancer and can be used for the diagnosis of primary liver cancer. Bcl - 2 may up - regulate the activity of AFP through inhibiting the apoptosis of cancer cells,which is correlated with the excessive growth and weakening of apoptosis of the primary hepatic tumor cells. 关键词
