Where Inclusive Innovation Emerges: Conceptual Framework and Research Agenda

Abstract
This article mainly explores the new trend of innovation management; the construct of theory for inclusive innovation system. After a comprehensive review of the basic concepts in literature on inclusive innovation, this article proposes the concept of inclusive innovation which enables all groups including the poor participate in economic growth, make contribution and share the fruits of growth reasonably through eliminating the poverty of the rights of the poor and social exclusion they face through innovation to achieve equality of opportunity and equitable participation during the process. This article further articulates the differentiation between inclusive innovation and traditional innovation mode, and discusses the special implication inclusive innovation may bring during the new round of social development. Then it proposes three theoretical mechanisms on how inclusive innovation promotes inclusive development, namely, reducing barriers, upgrading ability and changing institutions through innovation in the perspective of social exclusion. Finally, it analyzes potential theoretical development within restrict formation and restrict solution in the perspective of theory constructing.关键词
