摘要

Abstract

Novel BiVO4 photocatalyst was successfully synthesized by hydrothermal synthesis method using Bi( NO3 )3 · 5H2O and NH4VO3 as raw materials. The samples were determined by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD) , transmission electron microscopy (TEM) , scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and EDS etc. The results showed that the interfacial tension can be controlled and the growth of crystals can be affected by changing the reaction volume and adding some reagents as well as changing hydrothermal reaction time in the synthesis system. The dumbbell, spherical, fasciculate, rod, sheet, flower and block shape of BiVO4 were synthesized in the experiment. As a degradation object, Luo DanMing B has been degradated under the exist of BiVO4 photocatalyst in visible light. It was showed that BiVO4 has a good catalytic activity.
