摘要

Abstract

Double ellipsoid heat source model usually used in the numerical simulation of the in - service welding process, and the reasonable selection of parameters of model has a decisive role on the correctness of simulation results. In the past,the adjustment of the heat source parameters takes a lot time,and also is a hard work, but the uncertainty is very large. Analytical method was used to calculate the double ellipsoid heat source parameters of carbon dioxide gas shielded arc welding, which is usually used in in - service welding. An empirical formula of pool size parameters of double ellipsoid heat model was established by the mean of combination of simulation and experimental. And the results show that, with the method, the efficiency to determine the heat parameters is improved significantly, and the size of in - service welding pool had better prediction.
