Quality Assurance in Clinical Magnetic Resonance Imaging
摘要
Abstract
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), as a fast growing technique, is playing an important role in diagnostic healthcare. The success of a good clinical MRI service plays great emphasis on quality assurance (QA) on the medical equipment, so that all the specifications and imaging parameters could meet the preset criteria. It is also important to make sure the equipment is working effectively and precisely under a safe environment. The quality assurance heavily relies on the collaboration from a core team of radiologists, physicists, radiological technologists and service personnel. MRI QA covers a broad spectrum of site management, image acquisition and measurement of daily model, safety control, etc. One of the key components of QA is quality control (QC) of MRI to assure the accuracy and reliability of system operation. This paper will cover the technical details of the multiple aspects of quality assurance in MRI.关键词
