Abstract

Objective To investigate the chemical constituents in the EtOAc fraction of ethanol extracts from Flos Chrysanthemi Indici.Methods The compounds were isolated by silica gel chromatography, ODS chromatography, Sephadex LH-20 chromatography,and preparative HPLC,and their structures were elucidated on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic methods.Results Ten flavonoids were isolated from Flos Chrysanthemi Indici, and were identified as tricin(1), 5, 7, 3', 4'-tetrahydroxy-6, 5'-dimethexy-flavone(2),quercetin(3), luteolin(4),qucertin-7-0-j8-D-glucopyranoside(5),acacetin7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (6),diosmetin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (7),luteolin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (8), apigenin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(9),and linarin(10).Conclusion Qucertin 7-O-β-.D-glucopyranoside is isolated from Flos Chrysanthemi Indici for the first time.
