Abstract
Objective To study the effect of femeal Chromosome 9 pericentric inversion on ART results. Methods The infertile patients coining to our center for ART treatment from January 2008 to December 2009 were recruited in this study. Karyotype in chromosome of peripheral blood was analyzed by routine chromosome method and G-banding technique. The patients were divided into two groups according to the Karyotype: the research Group, 29 cycles with 46, XX, inv ( 9 ) (p11q13 ) ; the control group, 1032 cycles with normal karyotype. Results There were no statisticall differences in the fertilization rates, cleavage rates, high quality embryo rates, implantation rates, pregnancy rates and birth defects between the two groups (P > 0. 05 ) , but the rate of early miscarriage in the research Group was higher ( P < 0. 05 ). Conclusion Femeal chromosome 9 pericentric inversion has no significant effect on the ART process and early embryo development, but may cause an early miscarriage after ART.关键词
