Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical observation and preventive measures for percutaneous vertebroplasty leakage complications due to vertebroplasty operative procedure on compression fracture of vertebral body. Methods One hundred and thirty-eight patients(158 vertebrae) with vertebral compression fracture were recruited,the leakage of bone cement was observed after PVP treatment. Results There were 39 vertebrae with various degrees of bone cement leakage with incidence being 24 % (39/158). There were 15 patients with clinical symptoms. Conclusion Preoperative morphological analysis and the judgement of fracture condition,the surgeons experience, option of surgical method and operative skills,and tools have important influence on PVP leakage. The controlling of these factors can markedly reduce the risk of PVP leakage.关键词
