Optimization Design of Scraper Conveyor Chain for Maintenance Based on Reliability Simulation

Abstract
Based on the time-to-failure density function of ring chains,a scraper chain reliability model for maintenance was reconstructed and the change course of the scraper chain reliability was analyzed by means of reliability model simulation. Then considering maintenance period, maintenance cost, system reliability, the scraper chain optimal design models were established,and the reliability- based optimization methods for scraper chain systems were developed. Finally,simulation results show that this design method can help to select the design scheme of scraper chains preferably, to decide a reasonable configuration for ring chains,and to optimize maintenance cycle of scraper chain systems.关键词
