摘要

Abstract

Taking the flow channel in a closed integral impeller processing by numerically controlled electrical discharge machining (NC-EDM) for instance, by analyzing manufacturability of the flow passage among the impeller and machining areas partition, a method of electrode design was presented based on equal discharging gap hypothesis as well as its machining moving path with method for reducing the processing errors caused by electrode orbiting discussed. This method for designing electrodes was proposed by employing CAD/CAM module of Unigraphics redevelopment, whose feasibility was verified on a four-axis NC -EDM machine by trial -manufacturing a closed integral impeller with complex flow passage.
