摘要

Abstract

Compared to mechanical transmission, the efficiency of the metal V-belt type CVT is lower. Using clamping force based on slip control which reduced the clamping force,and no big slip happen was ensured in any conditions,also improved the efficiency of power transfer and reduced the fuel consumption of a vehicle. The tansmission mechanism of metal V-belt type CVT was represented, then CVT slip dynamic mathematic model was established, and put forward slip control strategy. The slip rate clamping force control strategy was proved on the bench and in vehicle, the results show that the slip control can improve the transmission efficiency of 8%~10%, on ECE + EUDC working circulation fuel consumption reduces 5. 2%.
