Study on Classification Algorithm of Electrode Grouping Based on 3D Model Retrieval and Its Applications

Abstract
Regarding the problem of reusing the knowledge and experience about electrode NC programming, a resolution method of classification and retrieval of electrode was presented based on 3D model retrieval according to principles of group technology. The main idea was to construct an algorithm for recognizing the form features of 3D model of electrodes by calculating 3D polar radius surface matrix and to acquire a vector of form features, then to define similarity operator of Minkowski distance and to divide electrodes into different classifications automatically, finally to gain the standard templates of electrode NC processes. The adopted method has several advantages such as avoiding human errors and having a fast speed and gaining high quality of classification and accurate retrieval result.关键词
