Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of locking compression plate in proximal humeral fractures. Methods: A total of 37 patients with proximal humeral fractures were treated by locking compression plate from January 2007 to December 2010 in Jintan Hospital of Jiangsu University. Among the 37 cases, 20 were males and 17 were females, and their ages ranged from 24～78 years [(40. 7 ± 15. 8)years], Results: The 37 patients have been postoperatively followed up for 9～52 months[(24. 6 ± 11. 3)months]. According to Neer rating scale, the excellent rate of the shoulder function was 89. 2%. Conclusions: Using locking compression plate to treat proximal humeral fractures can provide stable fixation and satisfactory shoulder joint function.关键词
