Abstract
Objective To compare hemostatic methods with silk ligation and bipolar coagulator in tonsillectomy. Methods 112 chronic tonsillitis cases from August 2007 to December 2009 in the department of otorhinolaryngology, Nanchong central hospital randomized into two groups,62 cases with silk ligation and 50 cases with bipolar coagulator to stop bleeding in the tonsillectomy,To analyze the difference of the rate of primary hemorrhage, postoperative pain and operation time of the two groups. Results The rate of primary hemorrhage of silk ligation group is obviously lower than the bipolar coagulator group's (x2=10.1,P=0.001),and postoperative pain of 6h,24h is lighter than bipolar coagulator group's (P=0),but operation time is longer than bipolar coagulator group's (f=7.896,P=0). Conclusions Silk ligation to stop bleeding is a better way to prevent primary hemorrhage in tonsillectomy and less pain after operation,but operation time is longer.关键词
