Abstract
Objective The influnce of lycium bararum polysaccharides (LBP) on apoptosis and the cell cycle of Human hepatocarcinoma cell Bel-7402 were studied. Methods The cell morphology of apoptosis and inhibitory rate of the cancer cell were analyzedby MTT staining and a ordinary microscope. The apoptosis rate of cells Bel-7402 and cell cycles were studied by the flow cytometer. Results After treatment with the LBP, Bel -7402cells showed morphologic features of apoptosis such as pyknosis, apoptotic body, thick stained area as crescents.Treated cancer cells were inhibited and dose dependent and maximal inhibition rate was 96.02%. After treatment with LBP,most Bel-7402 cells were arrested in the G2/M phase and appeared apoptosis, maximal apoptosis rate of Bel-7402 was 21.3%. Conclusion LBP can obviously inhibit human esophageal carcinoma cell Bel-7402 to proliferate, induce the apoptosis and arrest the cell cycle in the G2/M phase.关键词
