Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of quadruple therapy for peptic ulcer. Methods Chose from one hundred patients with peptic ulcer from May, 2009 to October 2011 and helicobacter pylori was tested positive by rapid urease test. The patients were randomly divided into control and treatment groups, each containing fifty. The control group adopted amoxicillin capsule, clarithromycin tablets, ray bella azole capsule triple therapy, while the treatment group added bismuth potassium citrate capsule based on triple therapy. The treatment period of each group was four weeks. Two groups were compared after treatment in terms of improvement of clinical symptoms and helicobacter pylor clearance. Results The effect and helicobacter pylor clearance
rate of the treatment group were significantly higher than those of the control group, the difference of which had meanings in statistics,
(P<0.05). The difference of the adverse reactions between the two groups had no meanings in statistics, (P>0.05). Conclusion It is
worth promoting because the clinical effect of quadruple therapy for peptic ulcer is significant, and helicobacter pylor clearance rate is
high.
