Abstract
Objective The feasibility and the designation of the double eyelid through the palpebral margin incision and the correction of upper eyelid skin flaccidness. Methods In the preview, estimates the resection range of the loose skin and the position of eyelid line. Between the line of 1 to 1.5 mm above the eyelid margin, slices off the eyelid skin parallelly to eyelash, then stretch in oblique ascending direction. Detach the skin upward until reaching the tarsal plate. Remove the excess skin precisely with tiled method. Fine-tune the double eyelid based on the line originally designed and remove adequate amount of orbicularis muscle below the double eyelid line. Then sew up the aponeurosis of levator muscle or tarsal with dermis by 3 to 5 points. Finally suture the incision. Results From January 2009 to June 2011, we performed the surgeries on 57 patients. After the surgery, the upper eyelid skin flaccidness has been corrected and the double eyelid appears nicely with concealed scar. The patients were satisfied with the surgeries. Conclusion Double eyelid plasty through eyelid margin incision has a good effect for correction of upper eyelid skin flaccidness with concealed scar. 关键词
