Abstract
[Objective] To compare the curative effect of laparoscopic anatomical left hepatectomy and open hepatectomy for hepatocellular carcinoma. [ Methods ] Clinical data of patients received hepatic left lateral lobecto-my for hepatocellular carcinoma were analyzed retrospectively, including 12 cases of laparoscopic anatomical left hepatectomy and 35cases of open hepatectomy. The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, time for postoperative recovery of gastrointestinal function, postoperative hospital stay, total hospitalization expenditures and complications were compared between the two groups. [Results] The operation was successfully performed in all patients. No conversion to laparotomy was needed in the former, nor did any complications occur. 6 cases of ascites occurred in the latter. The mean surgical time was (189.5±40.0)min and (98.9±36.9)min, mean blood loss was (254.8±195.9)mL and (387.9±140.1)mL, mean postoperative recovery time of gastrointestinal function was (2.2±1.3)d and (4.8±1.2)d, mean postoperative hospital day was (8.3±2.8)d and (14.1±3.5)d (P ＜0.05). The total hospitalization expenditures were (4.3±0.4) million yuan and (4.1 ±0.3) million yuan (P＞0.05). [Conclusions] The laparoscopic anatomical left hepatectomy for hepatocellular carcinoma is safe and effective by taking advantage of minimally invasive laparoscopic techniques.关键词
