摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the risk factors for urinary tract infection (UTI) in pregnancy. Methods A total of 368 pregnant women in our hospital between January 2008 and January 2012 who exhibited urinary irritation symptoms were included in the study. They were divided into a UTI group and a control group based on the presence of UTI. The age, education level, family income per capita, history of sexual activity during pregnancy, UTI history, parity, and hemoglobin level of the subjects were compared using univariate analysis. Logistic regression analysis was used to explore the risk factors for UTI. Results The proportion of patients in UTI group with history of sexual activity during pregnancy, history of UTI, anemia was significantly higher than that in the control group ( P < 0. 05 ) ; and the paitents with lower education level had higher risk of developing UTI than those with higher education level (P < 0. 05 ) .By Logistic regression analysis, subjects with history of sexual activity during pregnancy (95% CI (1.011, 1.576), P = 0.028], history of UTI (95%CI (1.183, 1.424), P=0.030], or anemia [95% CI (1.091, 1.471), P = 0.043] had higher risk of developing UTI during pregnancy. Conclusion History of UTI, history of sexual activity during pregnancy, and anemia were independent risk factors for UTI in pregnancy.关键词
