董氏奇穴疗法改善中风恢复期患者神经功能缺损的临床研究
Clinical Study on Dong's Extra Acupoint Acupuncture in Improvement of Neural Function Defect of Stroke Patients at Convalescence

Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effects of Dong's Extra Acupoint Acupuncture to improvement of the defect of neural function of patients with stroke at the convalescent stage. Methods Totally 60 patients were according to the random number table divided as trial group and control group, with 30 in each. All patients were given basic treatment, those in the trial group with the Dong's Extra Acupoints Acupuncture and those in the control group with conventional acupuncture therapy. After three courses of treatment, the clinic effect of neurological deficit improvement, total and factorial score of China Stroke Scale ( CSS ), and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results ( 1 ) All the patients finished the treatment. ( 2 ) After treatment, the total effective rate was 90. 0% ( 27/30 ) in the trial group and 86. 7% ( 26/30 ) in the control group, with no significant difference between the 2 groups ( P > 0. 05 ) . (3) There were no statistically significant differences between the 2 groups in total and factorial CSS scores before and after the treatment ( P > 0. 05 ), with a exception of conscious factor score. However, in each group itself before and after the treatment, the factorial CSS scores of facial paralysis, speech, myody-namia of upper limbs, myodynamia of hands, myodynamia of lower limbs, walking function and the CSS total scores showed a significant difference ( P <0. 05 ) . (4) No adverse reaction was found in the two groups during the test. Conclusion Dong's Extra Acupoints Acupuncture had a definite therapeutic effect for improving the defect of neural function of patients with stroke at the convalescent stage.关键词
