Abstract
Extrapulmonary tuberculosis does not exhibit typical clinical symptoms in elderly patients, especially in those with low immune function and multi - morbidities. Conventional laboratory tests have low specificity and sensitivity in detecting extrapulmonary tuberculosis. T - SPOT. TB assay is used to assist in the clinical diagnosis of TB. This article discusses the diagnostic value of T - SPOT. TB assay in a case of extrapulmonary tuberculosis with massive pleural effusion in an elderly patient.关键词
