Abstract
Objective To compare the success rate and the incidence of complications, and the time expenditure of two methods of femoral artery puncture in the preparation of minipig models of acute myocardial infarction. Methods Sixteen Wuzhishan mini-pigs were randomly divided into two groups: the ultrasound-guided puncture group ( n = 8 ) and puncture group under direct vision via surgical incision ( n = 8 ) . The success rate and incidence of complications and the time expenditure in the both groups were analyzed. Results The success rate and infection rate in the two groups were 100% and 0% , respectively. Major bleeding complications and time expenditure in the puncture group under direct vision via surgical incision were significantly lower than those in the control group ( P < 0. 05 ) . Conclusion The femoral artery puncture under direct vision via surgical incision is a safe and effective method , also a relatively time saving method.关键词
