Abstract
The cause of endometriosis may be cyclical bleeding within lesions, chronic peritoneal inflammation, nerve sprouting growth in lesions, and peripheral and central sensitization associated with hyperalge-sia. Although complete surgical excision of endometriosis lesions is a prerequisite for the treatment of endometriosis pain, yet, the long-term treatment with drugs after operation is needed. Additionally, the selection of drugs against inflammation and hyperalge-sia induced by sensitized peripheral and central nerves is the key to obtain the effective treatment for endometriosis pain.关键词
