Abstract
Objective To investigate the perioperative application value of fast-track surgery(FTS) in laparoscopic subtotal colectomy treatment for colonic slow-transit constipation. Methods 130 patients who received laparoscopic subtotal colectomy from December 2008 to January 2011 were randomly divided into observation group and control group. The control group (68 patients ) received routine care and guidance, while the observation group(62 patients ) received FTS treatment. The perioperative changes of body weight, the first exhaust time and defecation time, the time to begin eating, the postoperative hospital stay and the degree of comfort were compared between the two groups. Results It'was shorter of the first exhaust time, the first defecation time and the postoperative hospital stay in the observation group, comparing with the control group. The weight loss and the degree of comfort were better in the observation group than that of the control group. The complication rate in FTS group was 12. 9% , while traditional method group was 14. 7%. It showed that the difference between the two groups was not significant ( P > 0.05 ). There were 112 cases got followe-up for 6 to 18 months, and differences in the gastrointestinal life quality index score and the degree of improvement of constipation symptoms were not statistically significant ( P > 0. 05 ) between the two groups. Conclusion The current study demonstrates that FTS facilitates the perioperative rehabilitation of the patients with colonic slow-transit constipation and is a safe and effective process.关键词
