摘要

Abstract

The aim of the study was to investigate the effects of Chinese medicine prescription on the internal environment parameters of rumen for the goat. Six healthy Dazu black wether, with permanently ruminal cannula, which had one year age and the similar body weight were randomly allotted into three groups by a 3×3 double Latin square design. The goats in the control group were fed the basal diet. And the goats in the two treatment groups were fed the basal diets with different Chinese medicine prescriptions 15 g per day per goat, such as prescription Ⅰ and prescription Ⅱ, which composed of Herba Agastachis, Rhizoma Atractylodis, Cortex Phellodendri and Gypsum Fibrosunm with different proportions, respectively. The results showed that every prescription could not influence the ruminal pH and ammonia N concentration significantly; the prescription Ⅰ could increase the butyrate concentration and the concentration ratio of butyrate to total volatile fatty acids at a highly significant level (P<0. 01) and increase the concentrations of acetate and total volatile fatty acids at a significant level (P<0. 05) in the rumen of goats; the prescription Ⅱcould increase the butyrate concentration at a significant level (P<0. 05) in the rumen of goats. The results could suggest that every prescription could improve the internal environment of rumen and the action effect of the prescription Ⅰ was better than that of the prescription Ⅱ.
