Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the activity of Dianweisuan oral liquids with different pH values and to provide reference for the preparation and storage of it. METHODS: 13 groups of Dianweisuan oral liquids were prepared, and pH values were adjusted to 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, 5.5, 6.0, 6.5 and 7.0 at room temperature. Use tyrosine as control, bovine hemoglobin as substrate by water bath-enzymic synthesis at (37 ± 0.5) ℃. The absorbance of oral liquids was determined on 0, 10, 20, 30 and 60 d at the wavelength of 275 nm by UV spectrometry and the activity of pepsinum was calculated. RESULTS: On 0 day, there was no significant difference in the activity of Dianweisuan oral liquids with different pH values. On 60 d, the mean activity of oral liquids with pH value of 1.0-3.5 was 30.7 U·mL-1, decreasing by 24.6% , but they were more than labelled amount (24 U·mL-1); the mean activity of oral liquids with pH value of 4.0~7.0 was 21.6 U·mL-1, decreasing by 41.8%, and they were lower than labelled amount. CONCLUSION: The results indicated that pH value has an apparent influence on the activity of Dianweisuan oral liquids. The oral liquids with pH value less than 3.5 can be preserved for 60 d at room temperature.关键词
