摘要
Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To reduce medication errors and guarantee the safety of drug use in patients by using information technology. METHODS: The defects of HIS in our hospital were introduced, and necessary additional functions were set up and modified. Otherwise, various aspects of drug use in our hospital were monitored after embedding monitoring software of rational drug use. Finally, the effects of the establishment of additional functions were evaluated after combined with monitoring software. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS: Additional functions of HIS include overdose limits, caution for special population, prompting for incompatibility and caution for "Medical Insurance" limits, etc. Monitoring software of rational drug use can check doctors' prescriptions in advance, at once and after the events. Combination of HIS and monitoring software play an important role in drug use to warn and reduce incorrect and irrational drug use; the safety and effectiveness of drug use have been promoted.关键词
