摘要

Abstract

Objective To investigate the hemodynamic characters of prefrontal cortex in response to verbal fluency test (VFT) by using functional near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) in normal individuals. Methods Test of NIRS (Hitachi ETG-4000) with phonemic fluency tasks was carried out to 74 right-handed volunteers (male=38, average age 39.81±1.82 year old and average educational duration 14.30±0.63 year; female=39,average age 37.77±1.60 and average educational duration 14.15±0.64). There were statistic differences of age and educa-tional duration between male and female group. Results In prefrontal cortex,the oxygenated hemoglobin values of eleven channel were sig-nificantly different (P < 0.01) at 5-10 second after test began compared with values of baseline. Conclusion VFT can be used for pre-frontal cortex function investigation by using MRS.
