Study on Chemical Constituents from the Roots and Rhizomes of Sinopodophyllum emodi

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the chemical constituents in the roots and rhizomes of Sinopodophyllum emodi.Methods:The compounds were isolated by many different chromatographic methods such as silica gel,Sephadex LH-20,and ODS column.Their structures were identified by their physicochemical properties and spectrascopic data Results: Nine compounds were isolated and identified as isopicrodeoxypodophyllotoxin( Ⅰ),3β-hydroxy-7α-methoxy-24β-ethyl-cholest-5-ene(Ⅱ),5α,8α-epidioxy-(22E,24R)-erg-osta-6,22-dien-3β-ol(Ⅲ) ,7β-hydroxysitosterol (Ⅳ),β-sitosterol (Ⅴ) ,daucosterol (Ⅵ) ,α-glyceryl palmitate (Ⅶ) ,α-D-glucose (Ⅷ),5-hydromethyl furaldehyde(Ⅸ).Conclusion:Compounds Ⅰ ~ Ⅳ,Ⅶ~Ⅸ are obtained from this genus for the first time.关键词
