摘要

Abstract

The mammalian target or rapamycin (mTOR) signaling pathway plays an important role in multiple cellular functions, such as cell metabolism, proliferation and survival. Many previous studies have shown that mTOR regulates both neuron-protective and neuron-regenerative functions in trauma and various diseases in the central nervous system. In recent years, the inhibitors of mTOR signaling pathway have been developed in succession, which have exhibited definite clinical effects on both immunosuppressive and tumor suppressive. As a result, further research on this pathway and its mechanisms in various diseases have become one of the hot research areas. This paper reviews the research progress of mTOR in spinal cord injury.
