秦岭羚牛性别鉴定的初步研究
Primary Study on Sex Identification of Takin
摘要
Abstract
In order to study mechanism of sexing, the PCR technique was used to amplify the Sty gene of takin. A pair of primers (F1 and R1) was designed and synthesized according to the motif of cattle SRY gene. As a results, a DNA fragment (230 bp) was amplified from male takin, none DNA fragment was amplified from female takin, which indicated the Sry gene was sex specificity. Using these primers, 60 sex-unknown samples of takin were successfully sexed( 14 males and 46 females). The results may con- tribute to study the dynamic mechanism and sex ratio of the takin population.关键词
