摘要
Abstract
A method of implementing the JPEG static image compression algorithmic on STM32F4 microprocessor is proposed in this paper. According to the basic process of image compression, optimization and implementation of DCT transform in the image coding and the process of image compression which based on STM32F4 microprocessor are mainly dis- cussed. Experimental results show that compared with the traditional system based on the basic DCT transform ,the proposed system based on STM32F4 microprocessor and fast DCT algorithm as long as the method of cosine coefficient querying has improved the speed of image compression by four times, and gets a higher compression ratio which can reach up to 14: 1. Moreover,the PSNR of the image is above 30, and real-time and high efficiency compression of image signal is also realized.关键词
