On the Disintegration of the Neoproterozoic Qingbaikouan System in Yanshan Range, North China

On the basis of the new datings, the Xiamaling Formation of the lower Qingbaokou System in Yanshan range has been identified as the deposits of the early Ectasian System(1 400 - 1 200 Ma), the middle Mesoprotero-zoic.
