Abstract
Six commonly used tree height growth equations were fitted to Quercus mongolica height and DBH(Diameter at breast height)data with varied site conditions including logistic equation,linear equation,logarithmic equation,polynomial equation,power equation,exponential equation.The best equation was selected based on the model statistics.Results showed that logistics model performs the best for modeling of height-growth relationship of Quercus mongolica stand.The logistic model was then applied to the validation data for prediction of tree height.T-test was used to examine the difference between observed and predicted values.No significant difference was noticed between observed and predicted tree height(p=0.9857480.05).This study indicated that the logistic model could predict the Quercus mongolica tree height effectively.关键词
