摘要
Abstract
The local community's awareness on wildlife conservation in Foping Nature Reserve were surveyed in April 2010. The results showed that i) there is the severe lack of knowledge/awareness in local community about wildlife conservation in Foping NR; ii) local people have general knowledge a- bout major threats to wildlife and express willingness but not voluntarily to get involved in wildlife conservation; iii) local people gain their conservation knowledge mostly via education program provid- ed by the reserve. The potential way to improve local people's awareness towards wildlife conservation was discussed.关键词
