Kinetics Research on the Recovery of Zinc from Solid Waste Containing Arsenic by Ammonia Leaching Method

Abstract
Zinc from solid waste containing arsenic was recovered by ammonia leaching method. The effects of different leachant, leachant composition, total ammonia concentration, molar concentration ratio of NH3 to NH4+ , liquid-solid ratio on zinc leaching were investigated and its kinetics of was also analyzed. The results indicated that 56.21% of zinc was recovered when c(ammonia) = 5 mol/L, c ( NH3 ) : c ( NH4+ ) = 2: 3, L/S ratio = 4: 1. And the leaching process by macro model followed the shrinking-core model at the temperature ranging from 288 K to 328 K, which was controlled by the inner ~ - 32245, diffusion of reactants. The leaching kinetics equation was established as 1-2α3-(1-α)2/3=232×exp(-32245/RT)t, and the apparent activation energy is 32.24 kJ/mol.关键词
