Design of Generalized Hilbert Digital Filter Based on Second-Order Cone Programming

Abstract
In modern digital signal processing field, progressively high performance of the generalized Hilbert digital filter is demanded, while the traditional methods are subject to many flaws. A new method based on SOCP (Second-Order Cone Programming) is presented to design Hilbert filter, which aimed at minimizing the absolute error between the design frequency and the destined one. Thus, it can overcome the larger phase error via the traditional methods. Firstly, the model of the problem can be given. Then it can be re-formulated into the SOCP under infinitude norm criteria. Subsequently, it can be solved effectively through the interior point method. Finally, error analysis and simulation results demonstrate the efficiency of the SOCP.关键词
