摘要

Abstract

With the popularisation of ozonation, bromate, a carcinogenic hyproduct, has been widely concerned. Control technique of bromate was studied by studying the formation impact factors and removal methods of bromate. Results show that bromine, ozone, ammonia nitrogen and concentration of organic matter can affect the formation of bromate. It is also found that activated carbon and the combination of activated carbon and zero valent iron powder can remove bromate effectively. Meanwhile, UV/TiO2 can remove bromate more rapidily and completely.
