摘要

Abstract

Continuous cropping obstacle is a prominent issue in the development of modern agriculture, and the study of plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria will provide possible methods to overcome this difficulty. As the most potential and valuable biocontrol bacteria, PGPR not only can promote plant growth, and increase crop production, but also can improve the ability to resist many diseases. This paper firstly introduced the background of PGPR (definition, screening methods and commercial products), then analyzed the mechanisms of PGPR, including direct plant growth promotion and indirect biocontrol; Meanwhile, the potential of PGPR in overcoming continuous cropping obstacles were discussed. In order to provide reference for the apply and promotion of PGPR products in the future.
