Antimicrobial activity of compounds from Diphylleia sinensis Li.

摘要

Abstract

The Minmum Inhibiting Concentration (MIC) of compounds isolated from Diphylleia sinensis Li. Were measured by microdilution method on 96-well plates against E. Coli, P. Aeruginosa, S. Aureus, B. Subtilis, V. Mali, C. Gloeosporioid.es, A. Alternate and F. Gra-minearum. The results showed that podophyllotoxin, podophyllotoxone, kaempferol, diphyllin, kaempferol-3-O-glucoside, dephyllin-1-O-glucoside and podophyllotoxin-1-O-glu-coside had inhibiting activity to the tested fungi and bacteria. Podophyllotoxin and podophyl-lotoxin-1-O-glucoside had notable inhibiting microorganism activity to P. Aeruginosa with the MIC 6. 25μg/mL. The result of antinociceptive activity test showed that podophyllotoxin had antinociceptive activity, shorter cycle of potency and more effective than aspirin.
