Abstract
In traditional pattern of detecting cannon location, extended Kalman filter (EKF)is often used to track the climbing trajectory of cannonball fired by others. So the safety of battle field and the power of radar are limited. But the research on tracking of descent trajectory of cannonball fired by enemy is useful to settle the problem. As to tracking descent trajectory, the traditional EKF method can't meet the accuracy demand of detecting cannon location. However, the application of particle filter (PF) makes it feasible. Firstly, the whole process of cannon locating is described when tracking the descent trajectory. Then the state-space model is established. Finally the particle filter method is applied to track and identify the descent trajectory. The simulation results show that particle filter is more accurate and has longer operating time than EKF method, and the results can meet the needs of cannon location.关键词
