Analysis of Real-time Current Distribution for Magnetically Levitated Permanent-magnet Planar Motors With Moving-coils
摘要
Abstract
The electromagnetic force and torque equation of a permanent-magnet planar (PMP) motor is investigated. A real-time current control method to produce suspension force and horizontal thrust is proposed for a 6-DOF PMP motor, by which the coil currents can be calculated according to the expected suspension force and horizontal thrust. The proposed strategy incorporates the merits of simplification and convenience, meeting the real-time requirement of operation control. Meanwhile, the sum of the coil currents in each unit is zero, which simplifies driving circuits and reduces the cost. The finite element method (FEM) is employed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed current control strategy for suspension force and horizontal thrust.关键词
