Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of the treatment of arbidol hydrochloride suspension to viral upper respiratory tract infection. Methods Sixty - two patients were diagnosed to have a-cute upper respiratory tract infection in the outpatient and emergency department, as well as in the fever clinic of hospital. They were randomly divided into two groups, 30 patients were given arbidol hydrochloride suspension in the trial group, and 32 cases of the control group were given Arbidol capsule. The change of clinical symptoms and signs were observed in patients of two groups for five days. Results Sixty - two patients after treatment, the effective rate of trial group was 93. 33% , the effective rate was 93. 75% in control group, no significant difference statistically (P > 0. 05). The total score of the symptoms were compared after treatment in the two groups respectively, the difference was statistically significant (P <0. 01). Conclusion Treatment with arbidol hydrochloride suspension is a clinically effective and safe way to deal with viral upper respiratory tract infection.关键词
