摘要

Abstract

By using the water environment health risk assessment model from EPA ( Environmental Protection Agency, US) , and combining with water environment quality monitoring data, the health risk for drinking water source in Huizhou City was evaluated, the distribution characteristics anf risk level of pollutants in drinking water sources were analyzed. The results showed that the main hazardous pollutants were chemical careinogens. The health risks of careinogens to individuals were much higher than those of non-careinogens. The overall individual annual health risks in the six drinking water sources from 2008 to 2010 all exceeded the standards recommended by ICRP. Therefore, strengthening of carcinogens control, especially Cr, is an effective way to reduce the health risks in drinking water sources.
