Evidence-based nursing of integrated Traditional Chinese and western medicine for patients with analgesia pump in the period of indwelling urinary catheter in anorectal branch

Abstract
Objective To explore the best time for indwelling urinary catheterization in patients with analgesia pump in anorectal branch and prevent secondary uroschesis by use of nursing method of integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and western medicine. Methods 50 patients with analgesia pump and indwelling urinary catheter were selected, and they were evaluated by nursing method of integrated TCM and western medicine and intervened with acupoint massage and auricular points plaster therapy. Postoperative superinfection and secondary intubation were observed. Results One patient had superinfection ,2 patients had secondary intubation because of senility and prostatomegaly. Conclusion 48 hours later after urinary catheterization, the extubation of indwelling urinary catheter can alleviate sufferings of patients and avoid secondary intubation. Nursing intervention of integrated TCM and western medicine for patients can reduce incidence rate of urethral catheterization.关键词
