城市道路环境中驾驶员眼动行为特征
Characters of Driver's Eye Movements on Urban Roadways

Abstract
Driver's eye movement data are collected by using EyeLink II from the experiments conducted on real-world urban roadways. The five main parameters for characterizing eye moments are statistically analyzed. The results show that 80% of driver's single fixation duration is less than 300 ms, while 73. 5% of saccade amplitude is less than 3°and 85% of saccade velocity is between 0°s and 100°s. It is also found out that driver's horizontal fixation area is mainly in the middle part of visual field, but more focused on traffic flows and facilities on the left. Along the vertical direction, driver's fixation areas mostly focus on lower central part, especially on the area with a medium or very close distance to the car. Study results show that driver's single fixation duration can be approximated by lognormal distribution, saccade amplitude by exponential distribution, and saccade velocity by lognormal distribution.关键词
