摘要

Abstract

Microstructure and mechanism properties of 2219-T87 aluminum alloy TIG weld joint with 10 mm thickness are studied. The test results show that the average yield strength of the weld seam is 49.3% ,the tensile strength is 67. 8% and the elongation after the fracture is 65. 4% of the base metal. Tensile fractures are observed from the micrograms. Micro-hardness is the highest in the weld zone and the lowest on the fusion line and in the heat influenced zone. The hardness of the whole plate is lower than that of the base metal after welding. The corrosion test shows that the corrosion of the weld zone is better than that of the base metal. The research revults show that the performance of 2219 aluminum alloy welding can be improved by mehorating the welding process which can decrease the formation of the fusion zone and heat-influenced zone, and solving the problems of CuAl2 segregation,etc.
